A great resource for wandering motorhomers is the events page of the Visit Cornwall website, from which you can plan to be one day at the Porthleven food festival and next at Trewithick day in Camborne etc....

Family motorhoming?
I often wonder why we see so few families in motorhomes. Caravaners take their children with them after all. Cornwall is the perfect family motorhoming destination. The balance of activities is perfect. The beaches, little wayside museums, family attractions, superb walks, waterports, river cruises, dolphin spotting, fishing off the pier. The list is endless. There is something for every one in Cornwall. So take your children or grand children with you!

More on Parking
Parking should remain what it says, PARKING, and not using public space as a free caravan park, otherwise the local authorities are going to crack down and it will affect the regular guys who just want to spend a few hours here or there. I know there are the surfers whose motorhomes are often reduced to the back of a van, but I think the authorities could arrange dedicated spots for those near the surfing beaches. Some exist already, known to surfers only and I can't tell you about them for fear that " Mr plonk my motorhome there for half the summer" comes and invades.
